Works included clearing and grubbing, topsoil removal, foundation key construction, embankment construction, drainage works and crest road construction. The contract also included earthworks and roadworks associated with the new pump station and water treatment plant being constructed adjacent to the Clear Water Dam site. The Clear Water Dam contract was successfully delivered both ahead of schedule and within budget. B&J Catalano completed the project using 639 elevating scrapers; D7-D10 dozers; 8T-60T excavators; 30T-50T articulated dump trucks; graders; compactors and associated ancillary equipment. Fleet repair and maintenance was undertaken on-site using our mobile workshop facility.
