Scope of work:

Construction of a fully HDPE lined 50 Ha tailings storage facility and subsequent raises 1 and 2. The initial dam embankment ranged in height from 3 m to 14 m and the subsequent raises were 3 m. B&J Catalano operated a fleet of Caterpillar 657 scrapers; numerous Caterpillar 16 graders; water carts, compactors, excavators and light trucks in order to complete the works. Fleet repairs and maintenance was undertaken on-site using our mobile workshop facility.
